if i were in as much pain as Kurt was, with an undiagnosed stomach condition that could only be muted through deadly amounts of heroin every day, i’d probably shoot myself too. have some respect for the man, he didn’t irresponsibly OD like so many other rock stars before him.

I think Kurt hated it BECAUSE it became their best known song lol. He hated the fact that so many people claimed to “love” Nirvana but only really knew this one song. He also hated the fact that they wanted to challenge the mainstream of music, but instead became the *new* mainstream. Yes, very ironic. RIP Kurt

Cobain’s lyrics speak in Metaphor’s…Listen to some other stuff…Analyze the lyrics especially off the Album In Utero. Oh and the Janitor part I feel you can see him rocking to the music is kinda like don’t judge a book by its cover. Kurt was unkept and loud a Grunge Rockstar. He was chararcterized by loud lyrics and even loud guitar but was still Influenced by a Relativily quiet band named The Pixies.

Kobain was a junkie …
Kobain was a junkie. They usually die of their disease unless they get help. The underlying cause is depression. You have to watch people like that 24/7. Isolation is their way of plotting suicide. The morbid songs were clearly clues that he needed help. Shame. Even worse, the dealer that sold him the junk he was on. Doctors are just as bad as street peddlers (I’m NOT saying he o’d on prescription drugs, but drugs are drugs. They typically do more harm than good).

He was found in a room above his garage with a shotgun beside him. Kurt had overdosed on heroin and was shot to death. It was considered suicide however many disagree

Interesting thing …
Interesting thing my local Classic Rock radiostation has started playing Nirvana. It’s nice because they play their fun stuff I enjoy and none of the mopey, depressing crap I don’t like.
Does anybody else ever wonder if Kobain kept writing stuff like this song and less of the sadder, morbid song if he would have commited suicide? His suicide note mentioned how he hadn’t enjoyed his music in many years, so I think there’s a correlation.
