It is likely to be anything from -5C to 10C at Christmas in Essex, so it could be icy and snowy, or it could be a little warmer, but still quite cold and possibly wet and windy. Clothing preferences here are little different to yours. Wear whatever you would at home in those kinds of temperatures.

i was just in england
they have alot of plaid in grays and browns
and alot of girls are wearing cut off tights in purple, brown or deep orange topped with a long tight tank, in a neon color, pink, orange and blue.

Im 13 and I think u shud start with a pair of dolly, shoes u can find them at most shoe stores, and if in dout just ask an assistant in store, no-1 is seen without a pair.. a must hav!!!!!!!!

Hi, Im from Essex and there are many trends one which is what i wear are combats with different types of t-shirts, jumpers and even shirts, i wear mainly black and white t-shirts or some light pink or baby blue. There are other trends which are also cool they are jeans with a variety of coloured tops with different coloured belts to wear with jeans. Hope this helps you out.
