Hello fashion fans-I’m Joslyn for ClevverTV bringing you the dish on a style icon in the making-Vanessa Hudgens!
Vanessa first entered our hearts and our fashion files when she hit the small screen in High School Musical. Since then we’ve seen her emerge as a budding singer/actress and through it all we’ve seen her wardrobe choices evolve as well. Just recently, UsMagazine declared Vanessa, along with Kate Moss, to be a style icon. And I could not agree more.
Vanessa always looks incredible. Whether it’s a trip to the grocery store or a jaunt down the red carpet, she always maintains her young, bohemian, tomboyish look.
On a recent shopping trip with BFF Britney Snow, Vanessa showed off her signature casual style and her love of layering by wearing a simple tank tucked into cute black shorts and finished off with a neutral cardigan and classic aviator shades.
Vanessa is an accessory queen, and she’s not afraid to play with different items. She is famous for her love of long beaded necklaces, scarves, bracelets and trendy shades. She is also about shoes-and most recetly she seems to love flat boots and anything with fringe.
And while her casual style is effortless and unique, Vanessa always manages to turn heads on the red carpet. She and her boyfriend Zac Efron were seen breathing life into almost every major awards show this season. At the golden globe awards Vanessa went with an intricate floor-grazing gown by Alberta Ferretti. She also worked in her signature beaded necklaces and I love how she kept her look youthful and fresh by wearing her hair in a wavy style.
Her follow up look at the Academy Awards put her back in the spotlight once again. She went with Red Carpet favorite Marchesa and donned a fitted black gown with a floral corsage. This red carpet look took her status as a fashion icon in-training to the next level.
Regardless of where Vanessa is or what she chooses to wear, she always looks amazing. It may be because of the man on her arm! And according to recent reports, Zac Efron has promised himself to his longtime girlfriend and a 2010 wedding is in the works. I think it’s time to start thinking about what kind of stylish wedding dress she ‘ll go with. What do you guys think? Princess style? Lots of Beads? Or something form fitting and simple? What should Vanessa wear on her walk down the aisle?
